Linda Purenkova is the Head of the Legal services in BDO Law and a sworn attorney with more than 15 years of experience in legal field. Linda's day-to-day responsibilities include management of the legal department, team capacity development, client project management, budget management, customer relations, cooperation in projects with other departments.
Linda has significant experience in financial markets, M&As, corporate governance, banking and finance law. Prior joining BDO Law, Linda for 10 years practiced at pan-Baltic Law Firm Skrastins & Dzenis with focus on M&As, restructurings, banking and finance law, as well as litigations. Over the past seven years she managed the HQ level corporate and capital markets legal team in a large international group of companies providing various financial services in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Linda was responsible for ensuring a full legal support for cross-border multi-million M&A’s, bond issuances and other financing and investment deals, communication with stock exchanges, regulators, implementation of corporate governance processes and compliance with market abuse, disclosure and bond covenant requirements. As the attorney-at -law Linda has provided legal support to international clients in M&A deals, banking and finance field related matters, administered insolvency processes, and represented clients in various challenging litigations, e.g., in shareholder disputes, protection of creditor rights, supported preparation constitutional claims.
